About us

sunnyのコンセプトは “No Border”。宗教・人種・国籍に関係なく、誰とでも友だちになれる場所をつくっています。Our concept is “No Border.” We create a place where anyone can make friends, regardless of religion, race or nationality.

「誰もが気軽に世界とつながれる場所」を目指して活動する国際交流団体です。留学生や在住外国人、地域の皆さんが集まり、一緒に笑い、学び、楽しむ時間をつくっています。We aim to be a place where everyone can easily connect with the world. International students, foreign residents and local people come together to laugh, learn and have fun.

初心者大歓迎です！Organizerがしっかりサポートします。「海外の友達を作りたい」「英語を実践したい」——そんな方はもちろん、どなたでも大歓迎です。Beginners are very welcome! Our organizers will support you. Working professionals in Japan, international students — everyone is welcome!

話しやすい4人グループSmall groups of four

4人1組のグループなので、気軽に話しやすい雰囲気です。You’ll talk in groups of four, so it’s easy to join the conversation.

30分おきの席替えSeat change every 30 minutes

30分ごとに席替えをするので、いろんな人と話せます。We change seats every 30 minutes, so you can talk with many different people.

話題シートがあるので、初対面でも会話に困りません。With our topic sheets, you’ll never run out of things to talk about — even with people you’ve just met.

スナック・ドリンクも充実Plenty of snacks & drinks

お菓子や飲み物を楽しみながら、リラックスして交流できます。Enjoy snacks and drinks while you relax and chat.

言語交換イベント Language Exchange

第1回 Sunny イベントを開催しました！We held our first Sunny event!

今回は外国の方7名、日本人3名の計10名にご参加いただきました！We had 10 participants in total — 7 international participants and 3 Japanese participants!

皆さん和気あいあいと会話を楽しみ、新しい出会いがたくさん生まれた素敵な時間になりました！Everyone enjoyed chatting and getting to know each other. It was a wonderful time filled with new connections and conversations!

東京に来たばかりの方や、英語を実践的に使いたい日本人の方にとって、普段の生活ではなかなか出会えない人たちと交流できる機会になっています。Whether you’re new to Tokyo or a Japanese student looking to practice English, Sunny is a great place to meet people you might not otherwise get the chance to meet in your daily life.

英語がペラペラじゃないのですが参加できますか？My English isn’t fluent. Can I still join?

もちろんです。スタッフが会話に混ざれるようにサポートしますので、安心してご参加ください。Of course! Our staff will help you join the conversation, so please feel at ease.

一人で参加しても大丈夫ですか？Is it OK to come alone?

参加者の多くがお一人での参加です。スタッフが輪に入れるようお声がけします。Many participants come alone. Our staff will help you join the conversation.

社会人なのですが参加できますか？I’m a working professional. Can I join?

はい、幅広い年齢層の方にご参加いただいています。学生だけといった制限はないので、奮ってご参加ください。Yes! People of a wide range of ages join our events. There’s no “students only” rule, so please feel free to join us.

アルコールは提供されますか？Is alcohol provided?

持参のお酒を節度を持って飲むことは禁止していませんが、こちらからの提供はありません。また、イベントは通常お昼に開催されるので、女性の方も安心してご参加いただけます。We don’t provide alcohol, but you’re welcome to bring your own and drink responsibly. Our events are usually held during the daytime, so women can join with peace of mind, too.
